The
UAR provides fully certified registration papers and
benefits to all captive / non-native species of
birds regardless if the bird's current registration
status.
Many of our customers / breeders have stated that
its advantageous to register their breeding stock
and their resulting offspring with the UAR and have
done so in order to document age, band or micro-chip
numbers, pedigree information as well it is a method
of proving that their chicks / babies are not or a
smuggled origin but rather captive bred.
We believe that UAR registration in the long term
could possibly result in less wild born birds being
smuggled and there by assist in species preservation
and conservation of wild populations.
WHY SHOULD I REGISTER MY BIRDS?
Some of the reasons
for registration of your birds are:
Document
your birds true age and important identification
information such as micro-chip and or band
numbers.
Maintain
your breeding program's pedigree information with an
international genetic database.
Improve species genetic diversity by
allowing the UAR to document and record your bird's
genetic
lineages.
The UAR can assist breeders of rare or
endangered species that wish to network with other
breeders
in an effort to obtain and advance genetic diversity of
rare and endangered species.
Document and prove ownership of your pet
via a UAR photo registration certificate.

Never
a fee to register your clutch !

Sample UAR Hatch Certificates
Temporary Hatch Certificate - This is the
type of certificate issued when a clutch is
registered via the UAR. Each of your babies or
chicks in the clutch will receive a "Temporary
Hatch Certificate" that the clutch owner
(breeder) will sign off
ownership and give to the new owner (buyer), so
that they may then give the baby a registered
name, permanently register the chick and
transfer ownership into their name via the UAR.
All information needed to properly fill out
this certificate is on the back of the
certificate. At this time the new chick owner
may select several options on the back of the
certificate such as photo certificates or
purchase pedigrees.

Registration Certificates

UAR Registration Certificate - This is a
UAR Registration Certificate. This
certificate is issued by the UAR once / after
the "Temporary Hatch Certificate" is sent to the
UAR with the buyers information such as new
owner's name, address, chick's /
baby's registered name. At this time the
chick is issued a UAR permanent registration
number and all of it's information is recorded
in the UAR's genealogical database.
